1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Nest Provision Construction ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use Nest App (the "Platform"). We only collect what we need to operate the marketplace.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account data — name, email address, and password (stored only as a salted bcrypt hash; we never store it in readable form).
  • Contact and location data — phone number, city, state, and ZIP code, where you provide them.
  • Job data — service category, project description, service address, budget, and timeline.
  • Communications — messages you send to our support address.

Information collected automatically

  • Session data — a first-party session cookie (nest_sid) that keeps you signed in.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, and timestamps in server logs, used for security and abuse prevention.

We do not collect or store payment card data. Card numbers, CVV, and billing credentials are entered directly on Whop, our payment processor. We receive only a transaction reference, amount, and status.

3. How we use information

  • To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
  • To match your job request with an appropriate Pro and share the details needed to perform it.
  • To process payments through Whop and maintain your transaction and credit history.
  • To provide customer support and resolve disputes.
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • With Pros — the job details, contact information, and service address needed to perform the work you booked.
  • With Whop — the information required to process your payment and issue refunds.
  • With service providers — hosting and infrastructure vendors that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • For legal reasons — where required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.
  • In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Cookies

We use a single strictly-necessary first-party cookie (nest_sid) to maintain your login session. It is marked HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the Platform. Blocking this cookie will prevent you from signing in.

6. Data retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and thereafter as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements, or to resolve disputes. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Security

We protect data in transit with TLS, hash all passwords with bcrypt, restrict database access, and scope payment handling to our PCI-compliant processor. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using measures appropriate to its sensitivity.

As a business established in Massachusetts, we maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards consistent with the Massachusetts Standards for the Protection of Personal Information of Residents of the Commonwealth (201 CMR 17.00). If a security breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93H.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements;
  • obtain a copy of your information in a portable format;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@nestgeneralservices.company or write to us at 3 Valley View Way, Shirley, MA, United States. We verify requests against the email address on the account before disclosing or deleting data. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.

9. Children's privacy

The Platform is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

The Platform is operated for the United States market and data is processed on servers that may be located outside your country. By using the Platform, you understand your information may be transferred and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
